We spent a happy teenager-time we in Spijkenisse, by the locals "Spykecity" named. Together with my youngest brother we explored a hairdresser-shop in the Hotel of Carlton (including photographing). Unfortunatedly he passed away after three and a half years and, could not enjoy the richeness of the industrial area for now. Some info : >>>
Spijkenisse is a youngster on the island of Voorne-Putten. But it isn't a small village anymore, and has developed to a medium-sized town. You'll find a high standard of all facilities of a city, included shopping centres, clubs and sky-scrapers. There is Spijkenisse Centrum Metro Station, to Rotterdam, the world's largest port. And city of Spijkenisse is still surrounded by large industrial estates ...
