To me this small place in the Ardennes near Liege is very special.

I heard about Banneux and got fascinated by the legends.

The Holy Virgin Mary was seen in an apparition by Mariette Beco.

About eight times there was an apparition which started at January 15th.

There is a chapel put into use in 1933.

I brought my parents here for some reason.

My mother prayed and lighted a candle ...

My dad touched the fountainhead ... with his sick leg.

A rainbow appeared and, I felt so lucky ...

That moment was one of the most precious moments in my life.

And much later I painted the Quan Yin

The Holy Virgin from the East

To honour my parents ...
