BANGKOK - THAILAND

Bangkok ???
Oow,... that is where you spend all your money ...
... mostly your left money on ya return to the Western World ...

And >>>
the capital with the longest name ... ... ...

"Krungthepmahanakhon Amornrattanakosin Mahintharayutthaya Mahadilokphop Noppharat Ratchathaniburirom Udomratchaniwetmahasathan Amonphiman Awatansathit Sakkathattiyawitsanukamprasit"
and, Krung Thep, "City of Angels".

Though Bangkok, Orient's most cosmopolitan city, offers some more,...
Some very sexy, some very trendy, some very delicious!
By friends, by fashion, by food!

And we stayed once at Bangkok, on the very same time
of a threatened "war" a while ago, in 1992 ...
Remember ???
... that was really scary!

So we hid Bangkok several times.

And the last was December 16th. 2007.
Every time we intend for a cool stay, quiet and not stressy.
That is Utopia in Bangkok, so, let's go for
the wishful thinking thing!

Thanks for visit

MAMASAN FLOWER

It is told the Talaat Náam or Floating Market is a typically Thai cultural hot spot to do. It is, ... for tourists!!!

If you want to meet MAMASAN FLOWER in her original doings
you better stay the night before in Damnoen Saduak,
to get up very early around 7am or 8am to see the market.

Because when the 9am package tours from Bangkok arrive, the Floating Market is no fun anymore.
And change into a souvenir market instead of a slice of Thai culture.
With too many tourists flowing over the brow-grey canals.

Still MAMASAN FLOWER will hand over you her overpriced flowers ...

SO GAY

Bangkok is by far the largest city
with round 6 million souls in the city proper
10 million souls in the Bangkok area.

Most of the people are ethnic Thais, who can be divided into 4 groups (Central, Northeastern, Northern and Southern).

Thais are so welcomin', always smilin' (famous for their smile!) and so ... gay!

Gay and funny, with a lot of flirtation between the sexes,
singing, laughing, trading insults, cracking jokes ...
... even during their works, too.

And ... the gay part belongs even to the cabs ...
Pink & Purple, isn't that beautiful?

Great commentary and nice pictures, Roy... but where do you get a cup of coffee? Happy birthday, big guy.

I am already an experiend bug eater. Once I got a cup of hot chocolate from a machine, took a big sip, and found a cockroach in my mouth...
