Labuhanbajo, Jumping-Off Point When I visited Labuhanbajo I flew like an angel to the Westernmost tip of Flores, to a sleepy picturesque fishermen village where its bay is littered with indigenous outrigger fishing boats. Labuhanbajo is the "port of the Bajau gypsies", the sea boat dwellers from Sulawesi (Orang Bajo) who once had their port of call in this easy-going fishing village.
We went for a sail to Waecicu Beach and choosed to stay downtown in Bajo Beach. Good choise and we had some stunning trips ... thanks for visiting |

mircaskirca Sat Sep 15, 2007 21:09 UTC Selamat malam! I've always wanted to visit Flores! Waecicu Beach looks lovely! Snorkeling the reefs of Pulau Bidadari and Sabolo Kecil must be an experience! :) And the most diverting Indonesian I met (on Pulau Togian), was from Labuhanbajo as well :) | sachara Tue Sep 7, 2004 20:55 UTC Mooie foto's en informatieve tips ! Leuk om te zien. 't Zal nog wel even duren voor ik er aan toekom mijn pagina af te maken. |
