Surfing With Javanese

Although West Java for now is known for its Spirit-Queen the region is also known for its mountainous and agricultural character. Historically we know West-Java as Sunda where the Sundanese people live. So passing these lush green valleys and high mountain peaks you may fo for a surf, centred around Pelabuhan Ratu, Bayah and Genteng. Yep, neighbourhood of the Spirit-Queen.

Equipment: The best known surf spot in the region is Cimaya & Cisolok because most other surf breaks have limited accommodation. Cimaya is throughout favourite, included Indicator Point, Karang Papak and Karang Hawu (sometimes called Sunset Beach).

All this just an addition to VT site of Pelabuhan Ratu, because of one of my best friends. Go for it Mark! See Website Ombak Tujuh, the best about, for ya gear ...

SN At Samudra Beach Hotel

Two main effects result from this sport. First is revitalization of the common body systems and secondly the development of an energetic bodily field. The first results in a better physical condition and a better resistance against diseases. The second results in the forming of stealthy power (in the Indonesian language: Tenaga dalam = Inner Strength). The last is based on the development of bio-electricity.

Most of the members are motivated to cure their ailments, varying from chronic asthma, blood related disease, neural disease, malfunctioning internal organs and virus related diseases. Others want to improve their physical fitness or to develop their stealthy power.

Equipment: Breathing exercises are practiced already for a long time. The spreading was limited to small groups of people in Indonesia from one family or priests within a temple. The breathing process got very important to me, because I never tried that before. I got up now at the level of "Gabungan" and straighted out my back ...

At the Samudra Beach Hotel I got the chance to join the SN group at that place on that early Sunday morning and even got a special treatment by the master-teacher. The Javanese people really reacted very warmly in a way of taking in a stranger at once ... it was a great experience!

Please, see the link with some pics taken of the Dutch Satria Nusantara
thanks
