ON YOUR WAY TO PULAU KOMODO Whenever you wanna visit the famous Komodo Island
and leaving from Labuhanbajo
you will pass the beautiful Pulau Rinca.
Locals name it the twin island of Komodo!
Pulau Rinca is pronounced RIN-cha,
which is to be reached from Labuhanbajo on an westward sail from about 2 hrs. by a charter boat.
Here you also may find the K O M O D O!
The same one like on the Komodo Island
There are not that many Komodo animals like on the Komodo Island
though the island is so amazingly beautiful !!!

|  | RINCA ISLAND Rinca or Pulau Rinca could confuse you because Rinca just is an island of about 25 km - 12 km. In the middle of the island the latitude is only 2 km and will rise into the hills and the mountain of DORO ORA (667 m), which is the area of the famous Komodo's. There are 2 kampungs for about 700 local people, named Rinca and Loh Kerora.
There is a camp, named Kampung Rinca, also known as Loh Buaya.
You have to pass the Kampung Rinca for official administration
which is located close to Loh Buaya or Crocodile Bay.
Yep, you may see a croc, so watch for the ocean-crocs,
these are the most dangerous animals next to the Komodo Dragon!
Like the Komodo Island Rinca is a protected area because of the endangered species!
