If you have little time in Paris and only have time to visit one museum, Musee D'Orsay is it! People say the Louvre but it'll take you weeks to get through everything. Musee D'Orsay is worth the time and money to see anyway. I am a huge impressionist lover so my goals were to see works by Monet and Van Gogh primarily. There are beautiful works by Manet, Renoir, Cezanne and Sisely as well. The museum is a renovated trainstation and quite popular. There were some lines but it wasn't too much of a wait. A must-see!!! Opening Days and Hours Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 6pm Thursdays from 10am to 9.45pm Sundays from 9am to 6pm Ticket for the museum and exhibitions Full price : 7 Euro Reduced rate : 5 Euro On Sundays and from 4.15 pm (8 pm on Thursdays): 5 Euro

Main reason to visit: the cathedral itself and the views from the top of Sacre Coeur. From the bottom of the steps, the climb doesn't seem that high but attempt the climb and evading the street vendors is tough. Just say no! This area is filled with tourists. Tons. But the view is worth it. It extends over 30 KM. After a quick tour of Sacre-Coeur, we escaped to somewhere less but still tourist-filled...Place de Tetre.

Montmartre, high on the only hill overlooking Paris, has long been famous for its artists, and its magnificant Basilica du Sacre Coeur. Close by is the Place du Tertre; usually completely covered with tables and bright umbrellas...... and ``artists.'' The artists one the way to this area were quite persistent in their attempt to sketch you, just say no and walk away fast! This area was loaded with tourists and was very crowded even on the Tuesday afternoon we were there. Walk around this small square and look over the shoulder of an artist as he draws someone; or drink a coffee at one of the cafes which line every inch of the square
