Banff can be considered as ‘the capital’ of Banff National Park, with the result that you will see many tourists in town and the nearby places of interest.
But this town has its own charm in the middle of impressive mountains.
Try to visit as much as possible the 'off the beaten path’ places of interest.
- Pros:impressive scenery
- Cons:sometimes overcrowded

...just passing by, being curious... very pretty spot!
Hi Jaap, Enjoyed your pages, would love to see a wild bear when we have our 7 days in Banff this June. Is it cold in June?
Nice page of beautiful place !
You are to be commended for finding some off the beaten path places, wow the hike up Sulphur really does deserve a free trip down. Excellent photos.
It seems you had both good weather and a great time while in Banff! A very pretty location. Your B&B sounds and looks like a nice spot too!
Wow, how close did you get to this big horn sheep? They must be fairly tame.
