quietness in person.
We went in september there and the small town of Marina di pisa was already put to sleep for the upcoming winter. Around the 12-13 sept the private run beaches of nearby Tirrenia resort get closed, so the remaining option for laying in the sun are the open to public rocky beaches of Marina di Pisa.

Somehow it was that empty of tourists and people in general, that I cannot imagine this town full of life. Maybe it's that quiet all year round.
