Like the lord of the rings - KL has tow towers - lets hope they are not like the "twin towers" .. My first visit to KL ws in 1994 .. then the whole city was dug up and lots of construction going on .. and in 2003 when i went again it was the same - all dug up :) but atleast there are petronas towers, and monorail, and sunway lagoon and many other things. KL surprised me as a capital of a "muslim" country and so much modern and sacular - thats a big credit to this city. The twin towers are HUGE - but somehow they dont have that overpowering feeling as the world trade center (NY) had. |
| | architecture KL has both the modern and old architecture, old mala, islamic and British buildings stand side by side to the modern architecture |
| | the majestic Petronas towers look like glittering rods of shining steel at night and can be seen from far away |
