I have been a member of VT since 2004 but have been away for the last 2 years nearly. Just a great place to have insights from people who love to travel and I am really glad to re-discover it. To me, travelling is more than a hobby, it is a need. I actually need to go to other places, see different cultures/people and it is always with the same excitement that I travel very often, being to a town I dont know at 20 kilometers from my place or to another country. Though distance generally means more newness ;)

I am changing my job now to become a professional photographer so now I hope to be able to mix both my passion for travelling with money earning ;)

What I like in other people VT pages are the unique tips from real people, tips where people explain personnaly why they liked or did not like in a place, an activity, etc. I think its the main interest of VT: personal views against descriptive and conventionnal views from books. I really love also to read pages from people who have lived in a place, for they have a specific way of seeing the place. Also, all tips on trendy places (arts, clubs, bars, etc.) are really my "cup of tea".
