A Quiet Spot In the Bay Area Dixon is a small town located between Sacramento and Vacaville on I-80. If you blink you might miss it. We go there for dog shows. Dixon is the sight of the Dixon-May Fairgrounds. A very nice venue for dog shows. Lots of green grass, plenty of room to set up your grooming area, and good rest rooms. The grounds have places for RV hookups and room for parking. Adjacent to the outdoor area are buildings with agricultural names, indicating that the main economic activity of the area is agriculture. We have been here three times, the first time Mrs. B did her first showing here and came away with a three point major win with CeeCee our first show dog.
