The Best Hostel - EVER!!! HI-Niagara Falls. Stay there. I've never had such a good time at a hostel. First off, it's a hippy hostel, so everyone is chill and very cool. Secondly, every day they have some kind of hostel activity - drum circles, potlucks, informative workshops, etc. And finally, it's very close to the attractions and probably the cheapest place to stay at in the Falls area. |
The Falls at Niagara Now, I go around chasing waterfalls, and Niagara is one the biggest in the world, but what a disappointment. Not because of the falls themselves, but because of the crush of tourist masses. Now being from LA and Disneyland purgatory, I know about hordes of picture taking foreigners. Niagara is of its own breed. I don't think I've ever seen so many people in one place. Niagara Falls is like the most pimped out natural attraction of all times. If you could sell the mist, they would...for $10 a pop!!! |
The Criminal Museum A cheesy little wax museum dedicated to murders, bootleggers and the worst of mankind. It was mildly interesting but mostly campy. We haggled our way in and got a bit of a discount. Try it. |
