I live in Florence, but I spent the last 2 years working in Milan and before I've been living in the South of France and in Germany. This is what I see from my terrace and this is what I really like about Florence: you feel like you were in the countryside, but you are still in the heart of the city. Obviously sometimes I need to escape for a while from this, but I always like to come back.

This is what I see of Boboli's Garden from my terrace....

...and this is what I like most doing in Boboli, especially when spring begins and you can't go too far ...

THE PHARMACY IS NOT TO BE MISSED. I WAS WOWED BY IT WHEN I VISITED IN DEC 08. THE PRODUCTS ARE NOT INEXPENSIVE AND THEY ARE SOLD IN THE USA. JUST GO FOR THE EXPERIENCE.

Very nice FL pictures. The first house reminds me of the house once I rented near Florence in one summer. It was a astonishing Tuscany trip. I like the landscape of Tuscany very much. Have a nice day.

I spent two nights at the Campsite Michelangelo this past week. It is a great place to stay, although Firenze won some football match and honking horns kept us up half the night! :) Thanks for the tip! Brian

Francesca, Hi, how are you? Would you know what happened to the shoemaker, Stephen Bemer, whose shop was located between the Porto San Frediano and Piazza del Carmine. I could not find it the last time I was there.
