Annual Winter Trip

A windy warm winter day
We have started taking an annual winter trip to Jamaica. It's great to get away to a country were everyone is relaxed and at one with nature. It's a great way to decompress.

After a week in Jamaica, it's very hard to get back to the "rat race" that we run everyday. Each time I go, the love of this beautiful, warm, place grows in my heart.

We choose to go to a remote area on the North Shore. This is to relax...not party. Now, I love a party, but this week, I choose to do nothing more than get sun, great food, great drinks (fresh rum punch), and catch up on the latest novels. (Actually, most of my time is spent either at the pool, or on the beach with a drink in my hand and my eyes closed.)

I would suggest anyone with a stress filled life spend at least 5 days in the coastal country of Jamaica. Away from the rat race, away from the tourists is where you'll rediscover yourself and your family.
