Pleasant old town
We visited Landshut on a Saturday afternoon. The weather was perfect and they were having a Bavarian band contest! (Just for us? )
If you ever get to Munich and have a day to spare, I highly recommend that you go to Landshut for a visit. You will not regret the investment of time. It is only 45 minutes from Munich by train, but years different in atmosphere!

An afternoon in Landshut: Great page John, Landshut is one of my favorite cities in Germany... what's great is, I get to live here! So many tourists pass it by, but it really has a lot to offer--stop by some of the other great pages and take a look..Lisa
