So much to see
I went to Ghent from Brussels. Brussels was not impressing me and the weather was poor there, so I decided to cut my stay short and stop in Ghent on my way back to Oostende. I am very glad I did. Though I had not too much time to spend there I did manage to experience what I most wanted - to see the 'Adoration of th Mystic Lamb' in the cathedral of St. Bavo. I also went to the top of the Belfort, had lunch at a pleasant cafe on the St. Baaf's plein and then wandered the streets a while out to the Gravensteen.
