Waterbeach, 5 miles from Cambridge. There's no beach, there is a lot of water(2 rivers), but what this village has is charm, friendliness, pretty cottages, and a good old-fashioned community spirit, where everyone knows everyone. I'm lucky, in that my sister and her family live here, so I get to come here and stay a lot, but until I took my camera out, I didn't realise how beautiful this village is, and how lucky that my sister can bring up her family in such a nice and safe place. (These following photos will be updated in the summer, my camera was having an off-day! Or maybe I was!) |
