TSS Earnslaw: Do not bother

Restaurant Name: TSS Earnslaw
When you're on a cruise with the TSS Earnslaw, stay away frim the onboard cafe. It's overpriced, like everything else in Queenstown, and it's not even good.
Favorite Dish: I had latte and a savoury muffin, $9. Alright, the muffin was big, and sort of worth the price, but it was simply to huge. The latte was horrible, a black coffe with milk would have tasted better...

The Cafe at the Skyline Gondola: Humongous portion of fish and chips

Restaurant Name: The Cafe at the Skyline Gondola
We had planned on having the lunch buffet banquet here, but it was closed, so we did the cafe instead. Not a bad swap!
Favorite Dish: I had a $11 fish and chips, a big big load of chips with 4 pieces of fried battered fish, very nicely done, and I couldn't even finish it, despite not haven eaten all day. It was simply to huge! My friends all had hamburger and chips, and their portions were much smaller than mine.

Speight's Ale House: A lamb shank to kill for..

Restaurant Name: Speight's Ale House
I may be exaggerating with my title here, but this was a very excellent meal. It's more like a pub, hence the name, with a few tables tucked away for eating patrons. Rather dim lighting.
Favorite Dish: I went for the medium sized portion that has only one shank. Add a couple of dollars and go for the large size, and you'll get 2 shanks.
