Two times and still can't get enough

I still want to go back (2005)

This is the 2nd time I visit Singaore and I still want to go back. Why...the food, just for the food! Ample shopping opportunities besides, the food diversity is what attracts me the most.

Simply stunning...(2004)

Singapore...my first ever visit to Asia. I am overwhelmed. The traffic, the noise, the heat, the multitude of races and languages, the pace, the crowds, the crammed space, the lushness of the vegetation. Coming from a by my standards decent-size town in Norway (pop. 20000), I am stunned. This is a real city, and so vibrant. Admittedly, a bit frightening at first, I'm not used to to having this much people around me and nowhere to hide...but it's so exciting at the same time.

Diversity and technology

Being a cultural fusion of Southeastasian culture and Western high-tech, Singapore has it all! It has the Asian cultural spirit and the Western technological thrust, to me, the best of two (if not more) worlds. I only had a 3-day stopover on my way to NZ, but I can't wait to get back...must save money first. Flying from Norway is prohibitively expensive, but worth every penny.

Please try and avoid Sim Lim Square for any electronic purchase. I had a real bad experience while wanting to buy a X-Box 360 game box. I went to this shop Evolution Gaming LLP in 2nd Floor with my son and was grossly cheated.
