"Seattle" a Seattle Travel Page by joits

I came to visit about six years ago, but only spent one day and I was only able to see a few things. The usual: Space Needle, Pike Market, etc. It was great, but I wasn't able to return until a friend moved here in 2000. I came to visit a year later and then three years after that. I don't really mind the rain, although I only say that because I've only been in Seattle for a few days at a time. I don't know how I'd actually feel about it until I stay longer. But I'm seriously considering moving there once I graduate from college. Due to the rain, there's a lot of greenery around the city, something very lackking in Southern California. Plus a lot of my really good friends live here. And I just love the mentality of the people here, so much nicer than in LA.

My bestfriend, Harlem, was graduating from Seattle Central College. So it was the perfect excuse too find my way back to this rainy city! I had a great time hanging out with Harlem's friends, playing pool, having some drinks... it was a great weekend!
