New Years in NYC The reason I came to NYC was to spend New Years with some friends. No, I didn't do the Times Square thing. I wanted to, believe me, but it didn't happen. Ah well. I still had a ton of fun as this was my first time in the Big Apple. I've heard so much about the city and I've seen it portrayed in several movies and tv shows. This was my chance to see it for myself. |
Doing the tourist thing... There was so much to see and do, that was clear from the start. Knowing that I could not possibly see everything on my first visit, I aimed to see the "main tourist" attractions... i.e. Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge etc. I did get to do a few other things that I never expected such as visiting the United Nations Building. |
