Arnold volunteered with a Dutch youth organization during the early 1980s to build schools in a small rural community in Nicaragua (Nadaime). He hadn't corresponded with the family he lived with since he left. In March 2004, we decided to visit Nicaragua in hopes of findng the family. We were successful in finding "his" family and a gem of unspoiled ecotourism!

It seems Arnold was in Nicaragua fro changing times. Envy him for that.
Cool stuff. Would have liked to checked out the canopy tour. Oh well, next time. Hope you enjoy Honduras. Be sure to experience and dive Guanaja before the reef is destroyed by the new road (via silt run-off) they are planning.
Great start - will be back - yr pictures are inviting to visit Nicaragua once.
