This cathedral is really something, so take your time to have a good look at it. Don't bother going inside if you're not really interested, I went inside, and I don't remember anything from my visit there, so, probably it wasn't that special =P

Directions: Across the square from the royal palace. You can't miss it. Impossible.

You HAVE to go inside, even if the queue's huge. You HAVE to. This is the most amazing palace I've ever seen, the interiors of the rooms are outrageous. If I ever go back to Madrid, I'll definitely return here, even if that were the only thing I was to do on my visit. So, GO THERE!!

A huge park in the centre of the city, great for relaxation, walking, and watching people. Bring your own food and drink though, because the cafes here are REALLY expensive...

If you're in Madrid during summer, take your time to go to one of the public swimmingpools in the city. It's wonderful to spend a day there, if you miss the ocean, or just want a break from all the walking!

A beautiful church that you definitely should pay a visit. If you can, try to get inside, for some reason, which I don't remember, we weren't supposed to be let inside, but give it a try, we succeded at least! =)
