The capital of Spain is well worth a visit, but don't go there in the middle of summer, like we did, it's almost too hot to even exist. In addition to that, many cultural venues are closed during summertime, so if you're particularly interested in that, avoid this time of the year. What's good about going in july is that there isn't many people in the city, so queues are much shorter than you'd expect! |
