Arboretum and restaurant

Opened from the 2000. Full of various plants and flowers, palms (!!!!!), there is also small waterfall and lake with water-liles and the Koi carps (!!!!). In the summer night tours take place there. Restaurant named Semiramis is built in the Greek style and when you sit down in the garden and see only palms and flowers, you really feel like in Greece =) And, whats more, the meal is tasty and staff friendly :) Maybe they know why to call the complex Paradise ;)

Directions: By car: from Olomouc in Ostrava direction, then before the Peugeot building you turn left. And follow the signs "Horizont".
By bus: from Olomouc local bus nr. 15, stop "Bystrovany, Horizont".

Bouzov

Very nice castle about 30 km from Olomouc.

Entrance depends on the route you want to take, 50 - 150 Kc (approx. 2-5 EUR).

Salt cave

It is said that this cave is only one in Czech republic, where you can take special healing procedures with salt crystals from the Himalaya mountains and Dead Sea salt. You can also buy special lapms made from salt crystals.
Opened monday-friday 9-19:00, weekends 10-16:00.
The price for the procedure is 160 Kc (approx. 5,5 EUR)

ZOO

When you decide to visit Svaty kopecek, you should also take time to visit Olomouc ZOO nearby, which is a member of European Association of Zoological Gardens and Aquariums. You can also take your dog with you :-)
In the June and July you have chance to see new born animal babies and take a photo with them.

Svaty kopecek

Svaty kopecek (Holly hill in English)was built in 18th century and it has always been the famous catholic pilgrim site in Moravia. This place was also visited by the Pope John Paul II. in May 1995.

Directions: You can get there easy with the town transportation; bus nr.11 goes from the main railway station.
