You can find here not only tips and pictures from my travels, but from my personal life too. In addition, the new external web is ready (see link above), as we decided with Jirka to create our "family pages" :) However, these are in Czech only...

Something about me....
After finishing my law studies I shortly worked for regional internet newspaper, but it wasn't my cup of coffee, so I quit. Now I am working as a lawyer for a company located in small village near Ostrava. It is one and a half year already and so far I still really like it and hope this enthusiasm will last as long as possible!!! :) Just the getting up so early in the morning every day is driving me crazy... and tired :D Thanks god for the coffee! :)
At the end of May I also managed to finish my second university, check some photos here.

We finaly decided to solve the situation with the flat and, as a nice Christmas present, we bought new one :) So you do not need sleeping pads when staying overnight anymore :)) We have more space and - we have a sofa! :D

The "hottest" news is that we got married on 23rd of August 2008. Despite the fact they were forecasting heavy rains, we had wonderful weather and we enjoyed whole day more than we expected. Now I am trying to get used to my new surname - not much success so far :)) If you are interested in seeing some photos, have a look here.

And now little bit of traveling....!

There is a paradox on many VT pages - we write a lot about foreign countries but at the same time we forget to write about our one... many members have thousands of tips connected to the foreign countries, but there is almost nothing on the page of their home city.
Who should be better giude for others than the local person? So I decide to make it the key stone of my pages and now I am trying to build not only, but mainly CZ tips, from bigger cities as well as from small villages and I am very proud of my Czech page. I hope you will enjoy it and if some of my pages convinces you to visit CZ, or makes your trip being longer, I'll be the happiest person in the world :)

If you find on my travel pages some cities without tips, it's because I was there long time ago or just for a little while. Some of those "old" photos are in the lower quality because I had to scan it... guess digital cameras are great invention...! :))
Almost all travel photos are taken by me. In case of other author you will find the name or the link.
Tips are written according to my personal experience and feelings, so they could probably never be 100% objective. Sometimes I add link to official webpage of the place for further information.
All my restaurant tips are sorted by the number of "green squares", so as first you'll see the best ones.
Many pages are being continually updated.

Because of our work we don't have any big plans for traveling during the immediate future, we will probably stay in Ostrava and nearest surroundings. As my brother was in Lappeenranta for a semester, we visited him and one week in May we spent traveling through Finland, which was really fantastic!
And at the begining of August we went to Mikulov for few days.

And last but not least - I am here because of my passion for travelling and discovering new places. I really DO NOT reply to emails like "you are very nice, can we spend holidays together" and I would like to kindly ask everyone NOT TO send me such emails. Especially those people who have nothing on their pages and have been registered day before. This is not get-acquinted web!

In addition, please read through some pages before you send an email asking "what to do in Prague - Ostrava - elsewhere." There are many useful tips and many members have spent their time and efforts to provide you with information. In case you want to know something particular what cannot be found on pages, then of course feel free to ask, I will try my best to help you.
