The City of Angels – undoubtably…but we didn’t see any :-)
Impressive – totally. To such an extend that it is quite difficult to qualify or describe this oversized megalpolis.
Huge – absolutely. Hard to say where it starts and where it ends…More than 70 suburbs, longing to find a centre, are reunited to form the “Greater Los Angeles”.
Superficial – probably. Although it quite met our expectations.

In fact, L.A. is a good summary of sunny California and all the clichés we expect to find there, bringing together the 3 main features that fit the postcard : sea, sun and palm trees. Although maybe one was missing : the roller-skating-blond-girl wearing shorts, that inevitably appeared in every episode of ChiPs (remember Frank Poncherello and Jon Baker ? :-) )…

But L.A. is also the one and only city that comes to your mind when you think about Hollywood and its movie stars. And you’ll notice that : a sort of magic spell still emanates from this place where it all began, the place where so many people believed their dreams would come true…

A city thus synonym of magic and fame, with two main parks celebrating this : Universal Studio with the magic of the movies, and Disney Land with the magic of childhood. I would not be able to tell which one of them is the most magical … But you’ll have understood my point…the keyword here is MAGICAL :-)
