This year, Austria celebrates the 250th birthday of Mozart. An event that a true musician can't miss... So I offered my musician godmother to visit Vienna for few days and discover the world of music myself.
Well apart from the concerts and events held around Mozart, I was also impressed by the beauty of the architecture in this amazing capital of Austria. Everything is so nice, and clean ! It is a real pleasure to stroll through the streets !
Of course, Vienna's past is incredibly rich...not doubt about that. But to visit everything would take weeks, and we only had two days... so we concentrated on the thema Mozart and the music.
I will have to go back another time to pay a visit to Sissi and Franz, discover Schönbrunn, and all the other sites that are worth it ... and I guess I already found a Sissi-fan who would love to go with me :-) |
