Menghan [Ganlanba] is a village located 45km south of Jinghong, and can be reached without difficulty from this city by bike. If you are in the city centre, you just have to cross the new bridge over the Mekong river and follow it down to the south. I made this trip by bike, but I had idea it was less than 45km away.
Suggestions: visit the Temple (Menghan Chunman Dafosi), the Garden Dai (Daizu Yuan), and walk around the village untill the river side.

    lasseg Sat Jun 10, 2006 15:33 WEST Beautiful pictures from one very nice little town in Xishuangbanna. BTW. I have moved my Ganlanba page to Menghan, which is the correct destination.
