Transportation: Taxi / Bus from the airport to downtown

    Getting TO/AROUND: If you travel using a taxi, normal price is between 6-8 EUR.

    Unfortunatelly there is no bus service linking Ponta Delgada to the airport.
    Anyway, if you go as far as the old airport (1km away) you will find a bus stop. Besides local buses, line B bus has a regular service during the day on weekdays and is the cheapest way, only 25 EUR cents.

    Tickets are bought on the bus!

    Getting TO/AROUND: Three minibus lines operate inside the town, from 07:00 to 19:30, each 15 minutes.
    The ticket(s), which is bought inside the bus, costs 25 euro cents. If you buy a set of 10 tickets, you have a 10% discount.

    20:00 - Beach / Praia (On summer / No verão)
    21:00 - Historical / Histórico

    Weekends and holidays from 14:00.

    Departing Point: Avenida (Near the monumento dedicated to the Emigrants - one foot from ALFÂNDEGA)

    Sometimes you get a better fare if you buy a ticket through EXPEDIA paying with USD. Just compare!

     This bus were replaced by the mini bus that A Line that goes to the old airport , to the new , dosen't have any bus only taxi
