"Stovepipe wells" Death Valley National Park by tigerlily2

Every person we met on our way to the death valley told us we were nuts to visit the place in August.............Well, I think we were pretty lucky, because the temperature was almost bearable, and believe me or not there was a storm and it rained for about a quarter of a second............But I'm not that sure the raindrops had time to reach the ground.........
We spent the night in the village of stovepipe, and it was an amazing experience! Swimming in the hotel pool, right in the middle of nowhere, watching the sunset in the desert...........Incredible moments!

Just a few minutes from stovepipe village, you will find these beautiful dunes.........A perfect place to watch the sunset! Right after that, we kept lying down on the roof of our suv, stargazing, and that was pretty cool too!!!! Lots of shooting stars in august.

be prepared to meet fierce animals in the desert...........well.............must admit this poor coyote was not that fierce.........ok, not fierce at all...........probably paid in t-bones by the visitors centre to be taken in photo.............
