The Beechwood trees of Buggenhout

Boggie-wood

Wet woods and rubber boots
Buggenhout (literally "beechwood") is home to one of Flanders finest woodlands. Although increasing suburbanisation is quickly eating away at this once large forest it is still a remarkable nature area. This place is even beautiful on a rainy day when you can easily have the whole woods to yourself.

Pros:"An easy day trip close to Brussels"
Cons:"at times full of impolite and spandexed althetic types"
In A Nutshell:"If you need some greenery and fresh air and have your own wheels"
