Boggie-wood
Buggenhout (literally "beechwood") is home to one of Flanders finest woodlands. Although increasing suburbanisation is quickly eating away at this once large forest it is still a remarkable nature area. This place is even beautiful on a rainy day when you can easily have the whole woods to yourself.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:An easy day trip close to Brussels
- Cons:at times full of impolite and spandexed althetic types
- In a nutshell:If you need some greenery and fresh air and have your own wheels
