Roatan - Bay Islands, Honduras Like a bag of feathers shot out of a canon, we soon realized that our usual vacation behavior of drinking a town dry every night and then being active during the day just wouldn't work when it comes to heading to where the fishies live. A vacation full of learning, excitement and often questioning what the hell we were doing. But true to form we forged ahead and managed to get our certifications, dive with dolphins, dive to a ship wreck at 110ft and dive with sharks. | | Summer 2007 - St. Barth's The plan was to leave Philly on Friday morning and by Friday afternoon be lounging on the beach in St. Barth's. After 31 hours, losing our bags and spending an unplanned night out in San Juan, Puerto Rico we finally arrived in St. Barth's.
So in reliable fashion we decided to take it easy on our first night and only stay out until 5am and only dance on our restaurant table for a modest 3 hours. After all, we'd had a taxing start to the vacation. |

I LIKE THE SMELL OF GARLIC, BUT I DO NOT LIKE THE SMELL OF ROTTEN FISH.
I LIKE BROCCOLI & ASPARAGUS, BUT I "DON'T DO PEAS!"
I DON'T LIKE THE WAY YOU FEEL WHEN YOU WALK INTO A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE AND MISS THE 2 INCH STEP DOWN JUST AFTER THE DOOR.
I LIKE NIGHTS, BUT AM NOT TOO KEEN ON EARLY MORNINGS, UNLESS I'M GETTING UP TO DO SOMETHING EXCITING.
I LIKE DOGS. I EVEN DON'T MIND DOG FARTS.
I LIKE MY FRIENDS. THEY ARE NICE PEOPLE. YOU SHOULD MEET THEM! |

There's nothing like waking up at 7am in a coastal Mexican town, next to the beach and having nothing but dune buggies, 4x4's and dirt bikes sitting outside your room, all waiting to run "hell for leather" through the desert.......just for the thrill of it all!
