Columbia Icefields are a lot farther from the Jasper townsite than a few kilometers!

Wonderful VT-job Joan! Really anyone must feel at peace and at one with nature while visiting such outstanding place! I loved mountain sceneries (from the air and up the ground). Thanks for sharing!

What a beautiful park! And as an added bonus, an interpretive display on the history of rail travel at Jasper Station. I once took one of those trains from Vancouver to Winnipeg, but the journey was partly at night so we missed some of the scenery.

Wow, superb rainbow over the mountain! You have breathtaking shots from the top of the mountain! I like your Maligne River and lake pictures! Jasper National Park is a wonder and the kind of place that I enjoy! Haha, Big Brother is watching the elks too!
