Columbia Icefields are a lot farther from the Jasper townsite than a few kilometers!
Nice page! One of the Parks I'd love to visit in Canada!
Jasper National Park indeed has lots of breathtaking sights with so much natural beauty. The mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and glacier certainly impress us a lot. Thanks for your virtual tour with stunning photographs. ~ho & pang
Great picture of Whispered stories ! also nice information !
Wonderful VT-job Joan! Really anyone must feel at peace and at one with nature while visiting such outstanding place! I loved mountain sceneries (from the air and up the ground). Thanks for sharing!
What a beautiful park! And as an added bonus, an interpretive display on the history of rail travel at Jasper Station. I once took one of those trains from Vancouver to Winnipeg, but the journey was partly at night so we missed some of the scenery.
Jasper National Parks looks very beautiful with the mountains, lakes and glaciers. It is a place I'm sure I would love. Great photos and tips Joan!
Wow, superb rainbow over the mountain! You have breathtaking shots from the top of the mountain! I like your Maligne River and lake pictures! Jasper National Park is a wonder and the kind of place that I enjoy! Haha, Big Brother is watching the elks too!
Hi Joan, Thank you for dropping by my Johannesburg Page. Yes, the statue is huge, is it not? I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing views here. Especially the rainbow and "on top of the world". Amazing!
Hi Joan, thanks for visiting my Canterbury page. This sure looks a cold place but boy is it breathtaking, that makes up for the cold nose LOL
