Oh Ireland how I love you WIT & WISDOMOF IRELAND
MAY YOU LIVE AS LONG AS YOU WANT AND NEVER WANT AS LONG AS YOU LIVE

MAY YOU BE IN HEAVEN HALF AN HOUR BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOUR DEAD
DO NOT RECENT GROWING OLD, MANY ARE DENIED THE PRIVILEGE
GET ON YOUR KNEES AND THANK THE LORD YOU'RE ON YOUR FEET

REMEMBER - NO RAIN - NO RAINBOW |
| | CLONAKILTY, COUNTY CORK Clonakilty is a small town in west Cork full of character and flowers.
It has a special Post Office..........a converted Church.....which is under threat of closure.........could be an Irish joke..........hey but they sell lots of postcards of Michael Collins with the slogan "Write to fight over might" asking you to send it on as a petition. I kept mine...MEAN SCOT!!!!! |
Dungarvan Lovely peaceful place - down by the water - sit and watch the boats go by..........ah peace - perfect peace | | | Set your yachts on these waters |

Yaqui Sun Sep 13, 2009 21:26 UTC The thatched cottages in Adare are absolutely charming. I know some friends who love to visit the House of Ireland. The whole area is so beautiful. Thanks for the lovely tour Joan! | robertgaz Tue Jun 10, 2008 07:47 UTC An Aussie in Ireland stopped at a bar and asked one of the locals... "What's the quickest way to Belfast?" The Irishmen asked, "Are you walking or driving?" The Australian replied, "I'm driving!" The Irishman said, "Aye, that'd be the quickest way!" | traveldave Mon Dec 10, 2007 15:12 UTC I've never been to Ireland, but it has always looked like a facsinating country. I think it would be fun to visit an Irish pub and have a Guiness stout or two, or three.... | vesna04 Thu Oct 11, 2007 21:46 UTC Dungarvan and Adare seem my kind of places...beautiful! |
