A place revisited but so different

We first visited Loch Melfort in the dark days of February a few years ago. We only saw the Loch from our holiday cottage and I described it as 'the quiet dark loch' While travelling to Ellenabeich from Tarbert we felt compelled to stop here once again, the scene was totally different, we saw a lot more of this most lovely loch but bathed in an azure blue. Spring was here to greet us with blue skies complimenting the yellow gorse which grows in perfususion and heralds Springtime. The lone standing stone which we came across stood silent amongst the vibrant colours and the black face sheep happily grazing on the fresh new grass were all delightful. Getting a bit nearer toward our destination the sight of many yachts clinging to a distant harbour made a perfect picture for our onward journey.
