Nice things to! I had never heard the gherkin called the "erotic" gherkin before, but not "hard" to see why! It's rather proud... Just been in London today, stumbled on the Poseidon premiere in Leicester Sq, saw Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn!
Superb London travel page with plenty of beautiful photographs! Bring back fond memories of our trip to the city of London on several occasions. Did not realise the Monument is the tallest stone column in the world. Thanks for sharing. ~ho & pang
Joan, gorgeous and comprehensive page about one of my favourite cities. I especially like the local custom tips, like the one about the Church of St. Mary le bow. Have a lovely weekend. :-)
Hi Joan, excellent page here! interesting reading all the different tips and morsels we personalise our visits and time in London with!Hope all is well with you up north!
I'm preparing for another short trip to London and really enjoyed reading all your tips. Thank you.
Thanks for leading me by the hand and showing me London! And ABBEY ROAD is a must for me!We will be there on July 4th!
Excellent photo of the bridge! and great tips too!!
After my first visit to London I really didn't care for the city. I've been back several times since & now it's one of my favorite cities. BTW, just got back from Honduras.
Great tips on local customs. Next time in London I must visit HMS Belfast.
I couldn't wait to get out of the big smoke and into the sticks though ;~)
