West Tarbert Travel Guide: 22 reviews and 75 photos
We visited Tarbert on our Easter Break, the weather forecast was frightening before we set off. The West Coast is renowned for wet weather. We had a plan 'B' for this trip though, we would visit Glasgow if the weather did decide to be awkward. As it turned out the weather was great with sunshine and blue skies. We were back in Argyll and Glasgow's Glories would again have to wait awhile longer.

What a great page! Love the reflections on your intro photo, the accomodation tip and the shop with all the cute things.
What a pretty town! I love the painted houses in your opening shot, reflected in the water :-) The Hay Loft sounds a charming place to stay, and the fresh fish on offer in the restaurants a delight
i like the Parish Church that you took! A lot of information!
Such a pleasant place to visit: appealing shops, castle ruins, fresh caught fish and dreamy landscape!
Lovely little town. Natural Harbor #3 looks as if it were taken in my village. I agree about staying in little cottages. So homey. Much better than slick hotels.
Hello Joan, Beautiful landscapes. I wish I could paint them.
Ah, this looks like the Scottish version of Burano :-)) What a lovely region and village this is! And good to see that they have pet friendly accommodation, bet Cuileann had a lot fo fun. That castle in the middle of the loch is adorable!
What a fantastic place!!! I want to come back in Scotland :)
Thanks for posting VT's first and only West Tarbert page. On the map it looks a lot closer to Derry than to Aberdeen. Glad the weather held for you!
The courtyard looks delightful and the mountains are beautiful. Love that pink hotel. Nice page!
