    • Restaurant Name: Hausbrauerei Domhof

    The Housbrauerei Domhof restaurant is a very pretty place to eat, the decor is on a wine theme perfect for the area. It is quite a large restaurant but intimate as well with its little niches seperated by wooden trellis festooned with vine leaves. They have a wide and varied menu so it is difficult to choose. They also offer small portions at half price just perfect for people like me with a small appetite. Service is excellent with friendly staff who look after you very well indeed.

    Favorite Dish: I had a half portion of roast pork in a very rich gravy served with red cabbage and lovely light dumplings washed down with some refreshing local white wine.

     Speyer seems to offer splendid views from atop its architectural gems! Its wealth of cathedrals with beautiful paintings and interiors must have kept you entranced--it sounds very nice....
