| | I love little details Whether I travel near or far I love to seek out the unusual and natural environments . I do love nature and travelling a bit off the beaten tourist path. Maybe this is why I chose the Kintyre Peninsular for my last trip. Not many VT'rs have travelled here, so no hope of 'Top Five' pages, this does not matter to me, I just love visiting these small nooks and crannies. The Kintyre Peninsular is a long finger of land which is almost an Island connected by only one mile, it holds a wealth of small beautiful, scenic and natural places to visit. |
Summer is giving way to Autumn My travels along the way are usually unplanned - last minute affairs - This year things are a little different. Home and family are the most important things and the saga of my garden continues. We planted sunflower seeds at school and the little plant grew well in my garden, but now it has no sunny face but I have left it with its rich seeds to feed the birds through Autumn and winter. Hopefully some will fall on the earth to bloom again next Summer
| | My Little Prince Adam My second Grandson, Adam Fraser is growing into a lovely contented baby. Adam had another visit to his Granny's house for a babysitting job. His parents had hardly left the house when he woke up to smile for his Granny! |
My Home Village Cruden Bay is too tiny a village to be on VT's Data Base. If you would like to see where I live take a look at my Aberdeen page in off the beaten path. My friend and I walked the beach at Cruden with Cuileanne on a lovely sunny day, a distance of three glorious miles on a round trip. A three mile walk for us humanes but around five miles for the dog as she ran to and fro exploring the rock pools and enjoying the sight of the many basking seals.
| | Libby A Sweet Addition to our family Sweet little Libby was born on the 14th. December. Libby has grown a lot now, she was a special guest for Finn's Birthday. A lovely happy baby who can't wait to find her feet. |
Postcards from around our World I have always collected postcards from my travels but have only recently started to send and receive them through Virtual Tourist. Thanks to eveyone who has sent these postcards it is indeed a pleasure to pick them up from the door mat instead of just bills. If you would like to receive a postcard please e-mail me - I will be more than happy to exchange them.

I am just back from Marrakesh today after a rather adventurous trip, as you will no doubt read in due course! | BruceDunning Thu Nov 5, 2009 19:37 UTC You may be interested in looking at my last trip to 11 parks in Utah/Arizona. I added 1500 pictures + comments. It was a great trip and adventure of a lifetime for me. The scenery is the best in the US. | counsel14 Mon Oct 26, 2009 23:17 UTC Joan: granma's family came from there in late 1880's. Pierce Kilmartin was a third son and no inheritance for him (or some such rot) Susan | evaanna Sat Oct 24, 2009 23:01 UTC Hi Joan, thank you for revisiting my Vilnius page. You should be glad you don't teach any Polish boys. They might be even quicker but more naughty as well.:) |
