|  | A visit to Thailand is not complete without visiting its floating market. The floating market at Damnoen Saduak is the closest from Bangkok and it is said the more authentic floating market.
The best way to reach Damnoen Saduak is by bus tour from Bangkok. It starts early in the morning and visit the Rose Garden and some other places on the way back. But you can do it on your own by local bus from the Southern Bus terminal in Bangkok, but it's much more simple by tour.
By noon there is no much activities in the canal. The floating market is on its full wing during weekend and it also means the most crowded time to visit. |

The market sure is an interesting experience. So you paid 150 Baht per person and were 6 persons in one boat? We managed to hire one for the 4 of us for 400 baht, but it took some bargaining ,,, as everything here. |
