"Nice is nice : )" Nice by ampcarlos

The green and blue colors of the water were so inviting. It made it hard to not just jump in with my clothes. Parts of it looked like a swimming pool because of how the water glistened. I wanted to go but, it was just too hot (felt like my face was melting) and crowded and I didn't want to lay out or sit on the rocks. I'll just have to go back prepared with a cushy mat or inflatable lounger and an umbrella. There are no trees to shade you, but you can go to the areas that rent loungers and umbrellas, but it's expensive.

You see the occasional topless sunbather and the many men in their speedos. For those gents who are looking to see a fit, young female with her top off and those ladies who are looking to see a fit, young male in speedos, think again. Most of the topless ladies and speedo wearing men are over 60. I have got to hand it to them, they are brave, confident people who are not afraid showcase themselves. I was amazed at how many men sit on the benches, cameras and camcorders ready, waiting to get a shot. How sad that they just waste away their time waiting to get a thrill when there is a beautiful city to explore. I wonder how long they'll wait?

I enjoyed walking around and just taking in the atmosphere. Take in the beauty of the colors and the architecture that surrounds you. There are so many shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, markets and churches. Make sure you make time to just wander around. I only had a day and half so I packed it in.
