Keep the flies off the food

If you are selling produce and it's hot, you will attract flies. Here's how a simple thing can solve that problem.

Waste nothing in the villages

In the village we visited we noticed that there is nothing going to waste. So, even the cow dung becomes free fertilizer for the crops.

Trouble is, its someones job to put it on the fields!! (see pic)

Lovely, well built houses among the cliffs

As the cliffs provide resources for the roads and the houses in the province villages, they are nearly all concrete and/or stone built. This makes for more impressive scenery and better roads to travel on.

Basically, they blast away the rock from the cliffs and use it accordingly

Hello, Hello, Hello

Ninh Binh people will constantly call, 'hello' at you and wave. They are very friendly. If given a chance and they know a little English, they will also try and talk. Please respond appropriately.
