|  | Tampa (also known as Tampa Bay) is on the West Coast of Florida and central (north/south). It is the home of the National Football League Team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2003 Super Bowl Champions).
Tampa is a beautiful city, very urban with many attractions I've yet to explore. It is 82 miles west of Orlando -- Disney mecca.
One attraction in Tampa that I love is Busch Gardens which is a theme park/zoo. The park's theme is that of an exotic land, namely the continent of Africa. They have many areas of the park named for areas of the African continent. There are rides for all ages and it is home to more than 2700 exotic animals.
In 2003 we purchased year-round passes because we enjoy being able to get on thrilling rides or take leisurely strolls enjoying the flora & fauna, and of course the beautiful animals. |

| | You will see so many animals in what is truly an exotic setting. Busch Gardens has done a phenomenal job recreating an environment that honors the continent of Africa.
The theme park is filled with rides, animal exhibits, entertaining shows, numerous restaurants, and gift shops.
During different holidays they have special entertainment & holiday themes. |
