Dakshin at the Lotus Hotel: Indian Cuisine at its best

This is a beautiful restaurant.

It is located in the Lotus hotel and you will love its ambiance, the nice decoration and the very good service and manners of the staff.

The food is just fantastic. As we went to Dubai during Ramadan we could not eat during the day but at dusk you have the Break-fast buffet, the Ifthar.

the one at the Dakshin is just fantastic. The chef is Indian and he is exquisitely careful when it comes to select the dishes and to prepare them.

The cuisine is not only very good and tasty but also very assorted. You have all kind of meat and vegetarian dishes so anyone can enjoy this restaurent provided they enjoy spicy food.

Very recommended.

Favorite Dish: Ifthar buffet. Fantastic.

All dishes are good. Don't be afraid to ask anything from the menu. I don't think you can go wrong here.

Al bandar Restaurant: Dinner by the Creek

The best thing about the restaurant is the views. YOu can sit in the terrace by the creed seeing the abras cross the water and the people passing by.

A very nice place for a romantic dinner.

We had salad, grilled seafood (including lobster), two fruit cocktails, some kebabs and tea for 182 Dh.

Not specially cheap but worht the money.

You can also smoke a seesha after dinner...

Favorite Dish: The grilled lobster was specially good.

Another speciallity of the house were the fruit cocktails with mango, kiwi and tropical fruit. Delicious, but I would recommend it for dessert rather than for main drink as we had it.

Service was just average.
