Name of Shop: Patpong Night Market

This is a street market and it means that you can buy virtually everything here.
My favourites were the fakes. You know, handbags, sunglasses and so on
Quite well faked and quite good quality and v. good prices.

Also clothes for babies ,men and ladies and all sort of videogames and accesories. You name it.

What To Buy: Handbags, wallets and the like.
Watches.
Clothes
Console games.

What To Pay: Around 15 pounds for a very well faked LV.
Don't forget to bargain to death.

Name of Shop: Siam Center / Siam Discovery Center

Most of your favourite clothes shops and brand are here.

Not at bargain prices normally, but they have got quite a lot of promotions, sales and so on, so it is good to have a good look.

It is also interesting to observe the local scene. This is one of the favourite shopping centres of your Thais so you get to see what they do, where they eat and what they wear.

What To Buy: High street brands

What To Pay: All sorts of prices, really. Depends where you go.

Name of Shop: Mah Boon Krong(MBK)

This is without any doubt my favourite shopping centre in Bangkok, maybe because it is like a huge street market but without the annoyances so typical of one.

You will see plenty of stalls selling all sorts of cosmetics, clothes and fakes and mobiles and.. you name it.

The cosmetics stalls, I found they were specially good. Most of things fake, of course, but if you know how to look you can get yourself some good stuff.

The fakes, handbags, wallets and so on, I would not go for them, Patpong is best for that but if you don't mind very much the fact that your fakes will look, wel... totally fake ! Then, here you can find them cheaper than anywhere else.

Clothes are quite good and very cheap, only be aware that Thais are tiny and the sellers won't allow you to try the things so just make sure you fit in them before buying them.

And that is about it, really. Just get yourself here and enjoy! I am sure you will...

What To Buy: The same things you would go for in a street market, but here you won't be molested by pimps, stalked by whores, and choked to death by fumes.

What To Pay: 5-10 pound for a handbag.
3 pounds for a T-shirt.
2 pounds for a "designer" lipstick ;-) It will still look good in your make up bag and nobody will know if you don't tell...
