| | Gradovi I've decided to do my main homepage on all the cities in Bosnia that I've been to. And some that just don't really fit in any major catagory. So everyone can really know what it's like there. The thing about some of these pictures is that when u look at them u feel like this is what it (Bosnia) looked like thousands of years ago, but in fact that's what it still looks like. The pics where taken recently. It looks incredible. This first picture is of a village called Višegrad it's small but cozy and fascinating. |
Since the apparitions that began in 1981, millions of people of all faiths, from all over the world, have visited Međugorje and have left spiritually strengthened and renewed. The Blessed Virgin Mary has been appearing and giving messages to the world.
| | Mostar is an extraordinary town. The Mediterranean climate makes it the warmest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina with mostly sunny days and clear blue skies. It's got amazing Ottoman architecture and a beautiful breath-taking river (Neretva) that runs right through it. |
Banja Luka is the second largest city in Bosnia. The city is surrounded by mountains and rolling hills where the cold mountain river of Vrbas flows from through the center of town. It is an important regional center of business, education, arts and culture.
| | Sarajevo is the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. And to me the most amazing place in the world! The people are friendly, the food is incredible, and it's never boring! |
Počitelj is a picturesquare little town perched on a hillside above the Neretva River. It had gained international recognition for its centuries-old mosques and Ottoman-style homes.
| | Bihać is a town on the Una river in the north-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Una river valley where Bihać is situated provides the best route from Zagreb to Dalmatia so the traffic position is also favorable. There's also a yearly regatta held on the Una, as well as the Bihać Summer theatrical event. |
