You may read some off-putting reviews about this hotel, but think about how little time you would be staying in the hotel while in New York City. Maybe I struck lucky but everything about this hotel was excellent. The first thing to notice is the excellent location, right across the road from Madison Square Garden, round the corner from the Empore State Building, and ten minutes' walk to Times Square. In the hotel itself, the impressive lobby and helpful staff were there to greet you before heading to one of 1700 rooms they have. In ours, we had a large and comfortable queen-size bed, good shower room and the top of the ESB as a view from the window. Being at the back of the hotel, noise levels were low and a good night's sleep was easy. However, who goes to NYC to sleep? The hotel was great for practicality and for price. I'd definitely go back there.
