"Salt Flats" Bonneville Salt Flats State Park by WulfstanTraveller

The Bonneville Salt Flats are, as the name indicates, flat and salty. They are bright white and in the spring and summer quite hot and dry. Probably worse than the heat is the glaring sun. It gives a very stark, middle-of-nowhere feel, especially since the surrounding landscape in every direction is not exactly lush anyway.
